Microsoft Word - DMIT FINANCIAL STATEMENTS 2025-Final draft.

CHAIRMAN’S MESSAGE Dear Participants, May the peace, blessings and mercy of Allah be upon you. On behalf of the Board of Supervisors, I am pleased to present the forty-four Annual Report of Dar Al Maal Al Islami Trust (“DMIT”) for the financial year ended 31 December 2025. Resilience, Restructuring, Efficiency, Transformation, and Sustainability The year 2025 marks a decisive progression in the Group’s transformation journey. Building on the strategic reset initiated in 2024, we have adopted a comprehensive framework centred on resilience, restructuring, transformation, efficiency, and sustainability—five interrelated pillars that collectively define our approach to navigating an increasingly complex operating environment. Our focus on resilience has been directed toward strengthening the balance sheet, preserving liquidity, and maintaining robust risk management practices to ensure the Group remains well-positioned to withstand external shocks. At the same time, restructuring efforts have accelerated, with targeted actions to address legacy challenges, optimize the portfolio, and rationalize non-core exposures— particularly within underperforming segments of the Group. In parallel, we are advancing transformation initiatives aimed at modernizing our operating model, enhancing digital capabilities, and positioning the Group for sustainable future growth in an evolving financial landscape. Efficiency remains a central discipline, with continued emphasis on cost optimization, productivity, and ensuring that resources are deployed in a manner that maximizes returns and supports long-term profitability. Finally, sustainability underpins our long- term vision, reflecting our commitment to responsible growth, sound governance, and alignment with broader environmental, social, and economic priorities. Taken together, these pillars represent a cohesive strategy—not only to navigate current challenges, but to position the Group for sustained value creation in the years ahead In Sha’a Allah. Global Economic Environment and Geopolitical Disruption According to estimates from the International Monetary Fund, World Bank including Reuters, and Fitch Ratings, global economic growth in 2025 moderated to the range of approximately 2.8%–3.0%, reflecting tighter financial conditions, elevated interest rates, and continued geopolitical uncertainty.
